THE CALIBRATION PROCESS

Precision engineering, not guesswork. How we safely unlock your engine's potential.

STEP 1. HEALTH INSPECTION

We never tune a broken car. Every session begins with a mechanical scan, fluid check, and visual inspection. Spark plug gap verification is also recommanded to ensure the engine is ready for increased boost.

STEP 2. BASELINE DYNO

We strap your vehicle to our Dynojet 424xLC2 to measure stock power and log factory operating parameters. This establishes a "control" dataset to compare against our tuning results.

STEP 3. CUSTOM MAPPING

Using WinOLS/EcuTek, we adjust timing, fueling, and boost limiters based on real-time feedback from your specific engine. We optimize the entire power curve, not just the peak number.

STEP 4. ROAD VALIDATION

Dyno numbers are great, but drivability is key. We perform a final road test to ensure smooth cold starts, perfect throttle response, and refined daily driving manners before handing back the keys.

Frequently asked questions

Will tuning void my manufacturer's warranty?

Technically, any modification can give a dealership grounds to deny a powertrain claim. However, we retain all factory safety protocols (knock sensors, thermal limits) to prevent engine damage in the first place.
For lease returns or dealer visits, we offer a "Back to Stock" flashing service to restore your ECU to its original factory state.

What fuel do I need to run?

For optimal performance and safety, we strictly recommend 93 Octane (Shell V-Power) or 94 Octane (Petro-Canada).
We can tune for 91 Octane if necessary, but power gains will be lower. For maximum power, ask us about our Flex-Fuel (Ethanol) setups.

Will this reduce my engine's life?

A proper tune is safer than a bad tune. Unlike generic files that force high boost regardless of conditions, our custom mapping adjusts based on real-time data.
We recommend shortening your oil change interval to 5,000km to keep your modified engine healthy.

How long does the custom tuning process take?

Quality takes time. A typical custom dyno session takes 3 to 5 hours, depending on the complexity of the vehicle and hardware. We do not rush the cooling-down and data-logging phases.
